Generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and obsessive compulsive disorder are some of the most common afflictions affecting men and women of various age groups, resulting in serious interference with one’s daily life. Even committed Christians are not exempt from experiencing anxiety. Some are born with a tendency to worry. It appears that anxiety is necessary for survival, yet the bible teaches us that we are to fear not. Isn’t this an apparent contradiction? Come and discover the answer to this apparent paradox.

In this seminar you will learn about the unique clinical features, socio-demographic characteristics and causes of these conditions as well as their recommended treatments.

We will explore some common myths and misconceptions of medications and their safety and side effects when taken over a long term. Tips for coping with anxiety will also be shared with all participants.
