Suicide cases in Singapore highest in 8 years amid COVID-19 pandemic
The increase was observed across all age groups but in particular the elderly, which recorded the highest number of suicides since 1991.

Sadly, suicide is also on the rise among Christians.

Join this workshop if you have a burden to reach out to those who are at risk.

It aims to:
- equip participants with fundamental skills and the basic knowledge of helping someone with suicidal ideation.
- assist participants to acquire some basic knowledge of the reasons for suicidal ideation.
- provide participants with opportunities to practice in helping the suicidal ones through role-play

About Klein Tan

Klein is married to Margaret and has three children: Gracelyn, Amadeus and Keane. He is the founding pastor of Shekinah Joy Church in the year 2012.

He does Counselling Therapy at Renovaré Pte Ltd, which is a Professional Clinic for Counselling, Psychological Assessment and Professional Training & Supervision. He is also a Senior Counsellor at the Singapore Counselling Centre. At ACC Institute of Human Services, Klein is a member of the School Academic and Examination Board. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer teaching the Specialist Diploma in Counselling Psychology, Youth Management, Crisis Management, Change Management, Workplace Counselling, etc.
