Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. Rev 22:1-2

The River of life in the book of revelation is the wonderful Person of the Holy Spirit. In the Bible, the Spirit is represented as fire, as oil and very often as a spring of flowing water. The River originates from the Father and the Son and flows toward the nations, toward mankind, toward us. There is a definite destination because of the desire of the Father: to release His divine life to flow into the parched and hardened soil of our hearts. In Psalm 63, King David thirst and yearned for its refreshing flow and was satisfied in God's presence. Transformation took place in the heart of the woman at the well when she tasted its waters.

Jesus taught his disciples to pray "Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." God's desire has always been for the realm of heaven to be one with our lives here on earth. The River of God's Spirit is meant to flow in and through every aspect of our lives - refreshing us, guiding us, healing us, cleansing us and carrying us deeper into His manifest presence.

In this series of teachings on "Glimpses of Heaven", Kenny explores heavenly realities in the book of Revelation that are meant to be experienced by God's sons and daughters here on earth. We begin part one with the "River of God" - Look out of the next few parts of the series! These workshops will be part teaching and part experiential worship. During the zoom sessions, Kenny will partner with prophetic worship leaders to lead the participants into the depths of presence.

In this particular session, Kenny will be partnering with Neo Ming Wei, a professional classical pianist and prophetic worshiper. Ming Wei composes glorious music as part of her expression of being an artist. She believes in the power of God through music to bring healing and hope to communities.
