Why is bringing up children so difficult nowadays? What can Christian parents do to ensure their children are responsible, confident, creative and well-behaved? How can Christian parents be faithful and truthful towards God, their children and society in the face of the increasing uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity and volatility present in the contemporary world?
What can Christian parents do to ensure their children grow up responsibly? This talk overviews God's divine parenting plan and explains how godly wisdom is the true and unshakable answer to the parenting challenges we face.
About Phillip Towndrow
Dr Phillip A Towndrow is a teacher, teacher-educator and educational researcher. Over the past 26 years, he has worked in a variety of institutions including private academies and universities in Europe, the Middle East and South East Asia. He is married and has an adult son and a teenage daughter. Phillip serves as a lay leader in a Singapore church and aims—whenever and wherever possible—to teach and learn in ways that glorify God and extend his Kingdom.
Phillip has taught a number of Christian Education courses, and regularly conducts workshops, seminars and talks on language teaching, parenting and values. His latest book is WALKING WITH GOD AS A CHRISTIAN PARENT - Developing Wisdom for the 21st Century. His earlier books include WALKING WITH GOD AS A CHRISTIAN EDUCATOR and EDUCATION AND SOCIETY.
