Domestic Violence is on the rise and in particular spousal violence.

The church seems to be quiet on this issue. There are few advocates but its mainly the secular voice.

What do we do? Come and hear what Canon Ong has to share about this.

About Canon Ong Chooi Seng

Canon Ong is an Anglican minister who is of both the charismatic tradition as well as the contemplative wing. Much of his early formative years was in the UK where he had seen the renewal movement bring revival as well as the reflective approach which deepens the faith of many believers.

He is also a professional Counsellor with St Andrew's Cathedral and a registered Clinical Supervisor. He is part of the local Renovare Team and has lead groups in silent retreats as well as for spiritual direction.

The last 2 years he has been providing chaplaincy care and counsel for the largest shelter for women and children who are in distressed because of domestic violence.
