The marriage relationship is the most intimate of human relationships. It is a picture of intimacy and faithfulness. In the Bible we see this love relationship in the marriage covenant between God and Israel, and Christ with the Church.
As Jesus often used the analogy of the wedding, understanding the ancient Jewish wedding and customs will give us prophetic insights of His soon coming return and how the Bride of Christ can prepare herself for the great wedding feast.
