As Christians, we're called to be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us. Good financial stewardship involves putting our money to work. That is investing.
But how do we invest our finances in a way that's both wise and faithful?
This talk explores the biblical and practical principles of investing.
We'll discuss how to align our perspective towards investing with Scripture, and how it fits within the broader landscape of personal financial stewardship. We will explicate the key concepts underlying the approaches adopted by professional investors, and how individuals with different levels of investing experience can effectively tap into the powers of compounding.
The returns enable us to meet our lifetime financial needs. It enables us to bless our families, church and society. It frees us to pursue meaningful endeavours – serving God, spending time with our family, and engaging with social concerns. Through our financial contributions, we are able to play our part in fulfilling our calling as salt and light of the world.
Whether you're a seasoned investor or just starting out, this talk will equip you to make informed decisions that honour God with your finances.
