Have you ever done the right thing—planted seeds of faith, kindness, or prayer—and then waited… and waited… wondering if anything would ever grow?

Many of us find ourselves living in that quiet, often challenging space between what we sow and what we hope to harvest. It’s a place of waiting, wrestling, and sometimes wondering if God has forgotten us.
In this 90-minute talk, we’ll journey together through the lives of two remarkable biblical figures—Joseph, who waited years for his dreams to come alive, and Hannah, whose prayers in pain were answered in unexpected ways.

You’ll discover how to:

- Sow faithfully even when the outcome is unseen
- Trust God’s perfect timing amid delays
- Embrace the hidden work God does in the waiting
- Find hope and courage to keep going, no matter the season

If you’re longing for encouragement to navigate your own “in-between” season, this talk is for you.

About the speaker

A challenging family crisis coupled with a highly demanding senior leader role at a multi- national company resulted in Margaret having to make trade-offs that ended up with her retiring at the age of 50 in Jan 2013.

There was no second career in the pipeline nor were there any drawn up plans on what next?  She was still gunning for promotion and career growth with no inclination of retiring at all.  10 years have gone by and Margaret has not looked back.

Through the journey of new experiences, she has found fulfilment, contentment and renewal in retirement.  She has written two books, “One Husband, Two Men” and “Still My Husband” in which she shares her journey as a wife of a man who suffered from schizophrenia.   She is currently attending Queenstown Baptist Church.
