This webinar equips participants with foundational counselling skills and strategic approaches to effectively engage and support youth. Rooted in developmental psychology and strengths-based practice, the course focuses on understanding the inner world of young people and creating safe, trusting spaces for meaningful conversations.

Participants will explore common emotional, behavioural, and relational challenges faced by youth today and learn how to respond with empathy, clarity, and skill. Through a combination of theory, case discussions, and practical application, this course introduces evidence-informed techniques such as active listening, goal setting, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused interventions tailored for adolescents.

Designed for educators, youth workers, volunteers, counsellors-in-training, and anyone working closely with young people, the course emphasises respectful engagement, non-judgmental posture, and practical tools for supporting youth in their growth and development.
