A reflective and practical session for counselors, church members, individuals, small groups and spiritual formation participants seeking deeper peace, inner security, and whole-person growth.

In a culture shaped by pressure, performance, and approval-seeking, this session offers a different invitation: to become rooted in God’s love and formed by grace in body, mind, and spirit. Drawing on the Waverley model developed by Selwyn Hughes, the session presents a holistic understanding of human flourishing that connects spiritual formation, psychological insight, and embodied wellbeing.

What participants will explore

• Finding security in God rather than in success, status, or external approval.

• Changing from the Inside Out from Understanding how spiritual growth reshapes thoughts, emotions, behaviours and embodied responses over time.

• Simple Practices for Inner Growth with Practising simple rhythms such as prayer, Scripture engagement, reflection, rest, and attentive presence that support lasting inner transformation.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

• Explain how spiritual formation shapes security, self-worth, and significance in a whole-person way.

• Identify practical spiritual and embodied disciplines that support sustainable inner growth and renewal.

Take time to invest in deeper formation, wiser care, and a more grounded experience of God’s love. Early registration secures the discounted rate and a place at this timely event.
