Many of us go through seasons of life very differently.  The ups and downs, the joy and sorrows.  The additions and subtractions in our lives.  Health, career, finance, caregiving, ministry, relationship and the list goes on.

And when these seasons become too challenging for us, would we not want to have someone to be there just for us?  Not so much to counsel.  But being present with us.  Willing to give us a listening ear and the space that we are comfortable with.

Would you want to be that SOMEONE?

This interactive and hands-on training on ‘From Equip to Empower:  Developing People-Helping Skills’ seeks to help participants to understand:

  - Goals of people-helping
  - Roles of a people-helper
 -  Self-care
  - Boundaries
  - Identify communication barriers
  - Building relationship through effective communication
  - Application of the Skilled People-Helper Model
 -  Practice
