About the speaker
Steven Tan majored in Physics at the National University of Singapore. As a man of science, he found it difficult to just accept Christianity by faith when approached by his Christian friends to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
As such, he spent his university days to find out more about God - adopting an objective approach, studying the major world religions, looking at the arguments supporting evolution and creationism as well as archaeological evidences. After 2 years of searching, he finally accepted Christ and was baptized in 1984. He is currently worshipping at Covenant Evangelical Free Church at Bukit Panjang.
One of Steven’s areas of interest is Bible Prophecies on the End Times. He has been studying the subject since the 1990s. In 2009, the Lord prompted him to share it with others. With this calling and passion, Steven has been giving talks on this subject to several churches and small group settings since 2010.
